Each year, the VSGA conducts the 100 Hole Hike in support of Youth on Course Virginia. Every hiker attempts to raise money either through pledges for the number of holes they play or through one-time donations leading up to the day where they walk and play 100 holes of golf! You can learn more about the Hike at Youth on Course's website below.

This year, we have three hike sites to choose from:
If none of these dates work for you, or you'd rather hike at your home course, contact Josh Coates

The VSGA has set up three hike sites for hikers to choose from:
Alternatively, you can also hike at other sites across the U.S. (listed on the Youth on Course 100 Hole Hike registration page) or a club in Virginia of your choice. If you prefer to hike at a different club in Virginia, please contact Josh Coates for how to do so.
The team hike is a great option for those that still want to participate but are not able to individually complete 100 holes of golf in one day. Teams can be up to four people, and you can divide the 100 holes up however you like among team members. Choose the team hike option when registering, which will make you the "team captain." You can then invite up to three additional individuals to join your team.
The VSGA is offering the below incentives for individual hikers and teams that reach certain fundraising thresholds. Hikers reaching $12,500+ are also eligible for the Youth on Course Pebble Beach Impact Invitational. Summit Golf Brands is an apparel company that carries Zero Restriction, B. Draddy and Fairway and Greene.

Once completing the registration, you will receive a unique donation link to your Hike. You can share this link out to friends, family, social media, etc. to encourage them to support your Hike. You may begin fundraising as soon as you receive this link up until the fundraising deadline, which is typically set to the end of November.

In 2024, we had groups complete their hikes at Schoolhouse Nine in Sperryville on September 20, Cedar Point Club in Suffolk on September 25, and The Bear at Independence GC on September 30, raising over $40,000 for Youth on Course Virginia!
On September 19, 28 hikers each walked and played 100 holes of golf at three sites: Schoolhouse Nine in Sperryville, the Par-3 at Cedar Point Club in Suffolk, and The Hollows Golf Club in Montpelier. We were able to raise nearly $75,000, with every dollar going towards more rounds of golf for kids in Virginia!
