Adaptive Golf

Adaptive golf creates inclusive opportunities for individuals of all abilities to experience the game. Through dedicated programs and partnerships, golfers with physical, cognitive, or sensory challenges can enjoy instruction, clinics, and events tailored to their needs. The VSGA proudly supports adaptive golf initiatives, fostering a welcoming environment and promoting the lifelong benefits of golf for all participants.

2026 Adaptive Golf Clinics

Our adaptive golf clinics offer personalized instruction ensuring each player learns in a way that matches their abilities. All clinics are FREE and open to any and all players with disabilities, including non-VSGA members. Whether you’re new to the game or looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll benefit from expert coaching and the use of both standard and adaptive equipment—helping you play your best. NEW for 2026, we will offer both multi-week clinics as well as single-day clinics throughout Virginia.

2026 Adaptive Golf Clinics

Our adaptive golf play days offer a supportive environment where players can transition their skills from the clinic to the course, enjoy camaraderie with fellow golfers, and further their development. Please be on the lookout for the announcement of more Play Days soon!

2026 Adaptive Golf Grants Program

The Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) is committed to ensuring that golfers of all abilities have the opportunity to access and participate in the game of golf. The VSGA understands the barriers that exist within the adaptive sports community, and has made it a priority to help reduce those barriers and improve access to golf through the VSGA Adaptive Golf Grants Program.

The VSGA Adaptive Golf Grants Program will provide funding to support the development, implementation, and ongoing continuation of adaptive golf programs across Virginia. This grant opportunity is open to VSGA member clubs and any organization located in Virginia that supports or seeks to develop adaptive golf programming.
