Learn more about Club Authorization requirements all clubs must meet by June 30, 2024.

The latest revisions to the WHS™ went into effect on January 1, 2024 as part of an ongoing review of the Rules of Handicapping with a continued emphasis on accuracy, consistency and equity.

The VSGA conducted in-person seminars to share information on the changes as well as other key elements of the WHS. PGA Professionals received three (3) PDR credits for attending.

Rules of Golf

A regular update to the Rules of Golf went into effect on January 1, 2023 with the USGA and The R&A putting an emphasis on both inclusion and sustainability. Several penalties have been relaxed and language has been clarified to help golfers at all levels of play.

Join us for an upcoming in-person Rules of Golf Workshop, or access slide decks and recordings from our recent three-week webinar series. PGA Professionals will receive six (6) PDR credits for attending an in-person workshop.
