About the Club
First Tee — Hampton Roads is a premier youth development organization here in your community—internationally part of the First Tee founded by the PGA and locally, a program of the YMCA of South Hampton Roads. We are located next to Virginia Beach National Golf Club, in the Princess Anne area of Virginia Beach. First Tee — Hampton Roads is a year-round program that introduces kids far more than the game of golf—we teach nine character values, nine healthy habits and life skills that we encourage our participants to practice throughout life. First Tee — Hampton Roads is comprised of our 55-acre Virginia Beach facility includes a nine-hole walking executive course, driving range, enhanced putting green, short-game practice area and learning center/clubhouse. Staff and volunteers at First Tee — Hampton Roads include PGA professional consultants, and a team of qualified golf instructors assists in all programs under professional supervision. Our programs include First Tee Junior Golf & Life Skills Program, adult lessons, weekly summer camps, memberships to our Virginia Beach golf course, family golf time, Big T Little T tournaments, member tournaments, and private lessons.
