About the Club

Set on 268 acres, Meadows Farms Golf Course, designed by Bill Ward Jr., features 27 holes, each with its own character and story. Drawing inspiration from renowned courses in Florida and California, Ward introduced elevated tees, bounce bunkers, rock and railroad tie walls, an island green, a dramatic waterfall par 3, and seven water crossings. The result is a diverse, strategically demanding layout that challenges golfers of all skill levels while immersing them in the surrounding natural beauty. Located in eastern Orange County along the Rapidan River, Somerset Farms Golf Course winds through gently rolling woodlands and wetlands, with unspoiled views of the Virginia countryside and the Blue Ridge Mountains on the horizon. The 18-hole layout, designed by Tulsa-based architect Jerry Slack, blends traditional and links-style play.
