About the Club
Nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Winton boasts a par 71 golf course with breathtaking mountain vistas at every turn. Designed by Ed Ault and opened in 1970, Winton’s 18-hole championship course features large Bentgrass greens and Bermuda grass fairways. With five sets of tees ranging in length from over 6800 yards to 5300 yards, it is rated 71. 2 and has a slope rating of 123. Visitors to Winton consistently praise our greens and fairways as some of the best they play all year, anywhere in the state.
