About the Club

Brookwoods Golf Club opened in 1976 and was the first course in New Kent County at that time. It is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown Richmond, exit 205 off I-64 east. It is also only 5 miles from the Richmond Airport on route 60. Golfers can expect to enjoy a course with five par fives, five par threes, and eight par fours. Each hole has its own unique characteristics. The golf course layout includes many doglegs but the biggest challenge is the green complexes. Every green has a variety of slopes and rolls which provides premium on shot location and putting experiences. The 34 bunkers are well placed around the greens, some having the Scottish sod wall bunker faces. Players will find tight tree-lined fairways and there is some water to avoid. Just about every hole at Brookwoods has its own secluded corridor away from the distractions of the other golfers. These factors create a sense of adventure as first-time players explore each hole.
