SPOTSYLVANIA -- Through downpours and clear skies at Fawn Lake Country Club on Sunday, Williamsburg Golf Club's Jessica and Sarah Spicer maintained their lead of the Open Division, finishing the day shooting an 8-under 64 and capping off a weekend total of 64-65—129 (-17), the lowest score across all three divisions.
Starting day two off tied for second in the Senior Division after shooting 3-under 70, Natalie Easterly and Amy Ellertson overcame the deficit and finished Sunday as champions. The duo finished Sunday shooting a 5-under 68, Ellertson with three birdies to push them to the top of the Senior Division leaderboard.
In the Net Division, the three-way tie broke apart as Spring Creek Golf Club's Olivia De Cuba and Emma Zelaski took first place, finishing the weekend with a total of 71-64—135 (-11). After yesterday's round, the duo sat in fourth place behind the trio of first place teams.

SPOTSYLVANIA -- Williamsburg Golf Club's Jessica and Sarah Spicer look the 18-hole lead in the Open Division at the 9th Virginia State Golf Association Women's Four-Ball Championship at Fawn Lake Country Club, shooting a 9-under 64. Right behind the twins were the pairs Raquel Walker and Makayla Grubb, and Lauren Greenlief and Alexandra Austin, both sides shooting a 5-under 68.
Mount Vernon Country Club's Joan Gardner and Country Club of Fairfax's Mary Cabriele finished the first round shooting a 5-under 68, leading the Senior Division.
After the first round of the Net Division, the leaderboard is crowded at the top with a three-way tie for first. Springfield Golf and Country Club's Simone Beltz and Christina Bartlett, The Piedmont Club's Maria Kenny and Renee Wood, and the duo of LPGA Amateur GA - DC Metro's Susan Lantz and Laurel Hill Golf Club's Penny Duncan all finished the day 3-under. Shooting 2-under 71 on the day was Spring Creek Golf Club's Olivia De Cuba and Emma Zelaski, now sitting in fourth behind the trio of teams.
