QUOTABLE

  • "Today I started off pretty well, going 3-under through the first 6 holes. I felt like my ball striking was good, but it was a grind on the back end, kind of a different story. However, this is a busy stretch of golf for me right now, but I know I'm playing well. Hopefully, I can continue on throughout the week." -- Ha on Monday's round.
  • "I feel like it was a bit of a rollercoaster out there. I had a lot of birdies and a couple of bogeys too. I was making really long putts but then couldn't make a six-footer to save my life, so it was emotionally hard at times." -- Roychoudhury on Monday's round.
  • "It was a really nice course; I loved the layout, and it was beautiful. It is also really flat, which I was grateful for because I came from a course that was very hilly so I really enjoyed it." -- Roychoudhury on Jame River Country Club's course.
