CHARLOTTESVILLE--Winners were crowned in 11 age divisions at the 7th Virginia State Golf Association Junior Golf Circuit 9-hole Championship, held this past Saturday at Farmington Country Club's East Course.

Glen Allen's Jake Liang posted the best score of the day in any division, returning a 2-under-par 30 to win the boys 10-11 flight by two shots over Keswick's Camden Betsworth. Liang won the division in exciting fashion. He entered the final hole at 1 over par but made an albatross on the par-5 9th hole to surge into the lead. Betsworth--who earlier made a hole-in-one on the par-3 7th--made birdie on the final hole and finished two shots behind Liang.
