Rounds4 Research kicks off its online auction April 30-May 6. at www.Rounds4Research.com [icon name="external-link" class="" unprefixed_class=""] with more than 1,200 rounds of golf (each round includes two or four players) at courses in 41 states plus Canada, the Cayman Islands, Costa Rica and Switzerland. In Virginia, Primland Resort is among the big-name clubs available to bidders – open to the public. In Maryland, TPC Potomac at Avenel Farms is among courses up for bids.
Rounds 4 Research is a venture of the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG), the philanthropic arm of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA). Funds generated from the auction support research-related activities of the Virginia Golf Course Superintendents Association.
“Rounds 4 Research offers golfers a chance to play a round at a notable golf course or a local favorite, while funding research that supports the future of the great game of golf,” said Rhett Evans, GCSAA CEO.
