With the induction ceremony for the Inaugural Class of the Virginia Golf Hall of Fame complete, it’s time to think about the Class of 2017, which will be inducted next May at The Country Club of Virginia in Richmond.
Later this year, the Virginia Golf Hall of Fame Committee will be reviewing candidates for the Class of 2017 and will consider nominations from the public. To submit a nomination, click here or visit the Virginia Golf Hall of Fame website at www.virginiagolfhalloffame.com, where you can download a nomination form that includes submission instructions. Membership guidelines are outlined along with the nomination and voting processes.
The deadline to submit a nomination for the Class of 2017 is September 15, 2016.
The Inaugural Class inductees were Vinny Giles, Chandler Harper, Clyde Luther, Sam Snead, Curtis Strange and Lanny Wadkins.
