Welcome to the 102nd VSGA Amateur Championship Microsite

This year’s Virginia State Golf Association Amateur Championship is scheduled for the award-winning Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville from Monday-Friday, June 29-July 3, 2015.

For non-exempt amateur players, qualifying will take place at 11 sites throughout the commonwealth. Each qualifier consists of 18 holes in one day. The cost to qualify remains $75.

An additiMondy-with-trophyonal ‘Last-Chance’ qualifier for the VSGA Amateur will be held on Monday, June 22 at central Virginia’s The Club at Viniterra to fill the final spots for the event. Any VSGA member may compete in this final qualifier, even if he or she has failed to qualify on a previous occasion. Members may only register for the final qualifier after the 11 other qualifiers have been completed. The number of spots available at the additional qualifier will be determined after the 11 qualifiers have taken place.

The VSGA joins in congratulating Jake Mondy of Blacksburg, who won in 2014 to claim his second VSGA Amateur title. He triumphed in the event’s 101st renewal at Spring Creek Golf Club.
